Ella is half vampire and half human, a so called split. However Ella doesn't know about this. When Ella and her best friend Omer start a new high school year it's up to the vampire Leo to tell Ella who she really is. Leo joins high school, but his tasks isn't as easy as he thought it would be.
Follows Ella Rosen who discovers her identity, as a half-vampire, half-human, when she starts at Green High whose principal is secretly the head of 'The Order of the Blood' an order which is devoted to cleansing the world of vampires.
